This is a multifaceted outcropping of prog rock—a smooth & ambient blend of many of it’s sub-genres: alternative, psychedelic, neo-prog, classic prog, rock, and elements of metal. The album is consistently melodic. Vocals are clean & expressive & used creatively—delivered by diverse means that keep things interesting. Very polished & modern sound. They remind me of a less hectic, less djenty Haken, perhaps? One song even had flute 👏👏👏. Well done. 8.5/10. Favorite track: Moon Over Paris Pt 2.

I've been playing this album pretty much non-stop since seeing them (on a whim) at Krakatoa a few weeks ago. A fantastic mix of melodic metal with pop and jazzy undertones....and believe me this lad can sing this as well on stage as on record. This is easily the best metal album I've listened to since I first listened to Sempiternal by BMTH. Favourite track is Reanimate, for me..but they're all top notch. pablo6580

A unique conglomeration of progressive djent that just slightly edges towards alternative and dare I say pop. Remarkably catchy front to back VOLA’s sound is a breath of fresh air. Even my friends who don’t like metal like these guys. 9/10 RJ
